WMS - Configure Store Group Policy

WMS - Configure Store Group Policy

Each Store will have its own Group Policy. For the most part, everything will be inherited from the Default Group Policy, but creating store group policies makes it easier to find a device for troubleshooting.

Create a Store Group Policy

If you don’t already have a Store policy setup, you can create one:

  1. Navigate to the Groups & Configs menu

  2. Select the Default Policy Group

  3. Click the '+' icon.

Set the Name and Description for the group policy.

Enable the group token and supply a password.

When a thin client boots and receives this Group Token via DHCP, the device will be automatically registered within that Group Policy. This makes finding devices easy.

At this point you are finished. IF you are using wireless at this store, you can configure the WiFI SSID and password for this store in the Network settings.
