WMS - Configure DHCP for Pricing Stations
You will need to configure static Host entries for the pricing stations, setting the name to 001Pricing2 where ‘001’ is the Store ID, and '2' is the pricing station number. This name is what makes the autologin work properly
You will need to configure special DHCP options for the Wyse pricing stations.
It is expected that each store will have its own DHCP server.
For the Dell Wyse Thin Clients, not only must static IP addresses be assigned, but these extra DHCP options must be set:
ID | Type | Name | Value |
---|---|---|---|
165 | String/ASCII | wms-ccm-server | FQHN/IP address of the WMS Server |
166 | String/ASCII | wmc-ccm-mqtt-server | FQHN/IP address of the WMS server |
167 | String/ASCII | wmc-ccm-ca-validation | The string “False” without the quotes. |
199 | String/ASCII | wmc-ccm-group-key | This is the key for the WMS configuration group. This will be something like “defa-xxxxxxxx”. This is set in the WMS configuration page. |
NOTE: all of these are ASCII/String fields. Even the IP addresses are Strings.
